Professional Services Lead Technical Software Consultant / Manager

The APTARE Services team is looking for a Lead Technical Consultant / Manager to direct and grow the Services organization and deliver first-class consulting services to APTARE customers and partners throughout the world. In this role you will be responsible for the full services project lifecycle, beginning with requirements gathering, scoping the services engagement and developing the statement of work, through delivery and project management of the implementation and SQL report writing service tasks.

The primary focus of the role is actual hands-on service delivery, so you must have substantial experience as a customer facing technical consultant, in addition to one or more years in a consulting management role.

Travel is required, but some services can be delivered remotely after the initial software installation.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Accomplished services consultant with 4+ years experience in technical consulting role;
• 1+ years of a management / team lead role
• Previous responsibility for scoping projects, developing Statements of Work and Project Management
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a technical consulting team
• Hands-on experience with Enterprise Software, UNIX and Oracle or other relational databases
• Highly analytical with ability to work with customers in a professional manner in high pressure situations
• Takes initiative; a self starter with a desire for ownership; excellent follow through skills

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Oracle PL/SQL report development
• Web technology experience (e.g. supported products utilizing Apache, Tomcat, HTML, Javascript, java)
• BA/BS in Computer Science / Engineering or related field

Desired experience

• Storage Administration (EMC, HDS, NetApp etc.)
• Enterprise backup software (NetBackup, Tivoli Storage Manager(TSM), Legato NetWorker, HP Data Protector)

Education

• BA/BS in Computer Science/Engineering or related field or equivalent experience required
