Senior Web 2.0 UI Expert

Our software engineering team is looking for a Senior Java Developer to help architect, design and develop our feature rich, Web 2.0/AJAX based storage management products utilizing the latest tools and technologies. In this critical role you will become part of a motivated and talented team operating under Agile principles. You will have a passion for writing and designing the server and client side of cutting edge web applications that push the boundaries of what is possible in a browser. You will be a senior member of the team and in consultation with the Solutions Architect, design and develop the UI experience.

Skills - Required

• Very strong general Java with a very solid understanding of OO principals
• Strong design and architecture skills based around patterns and UML
• Solid experience with Spring, JSP, and an MVC framework
• An encyclopedic knowledge of open source frameworks and how they can be plugged to solve design goals
• The ability to take ownership of a task and drive it to completion

Skills - Desired

• Exposure to GWT
• JavaScript skills and experience with a framework such as jQuery, Prototype, YUI

Education

• BA/BS in Computer Science/Engineering or related field or equivalent experience required.
